Long left behind Vanessa, his wife of 27 years. He had four kids: Taylor, Eric, Edward, and Jared. The church’s release does not mention his three grandchildren.
I am convinced because of my faith in God that my spouse is now sleeping in a better place, Vanessa Long, the first women elder of New Missionary, told the congregation.
Even though those of us who loved him very much is left without him, we may rejoice and be pleased for him because we know he is at peace.
What Day and Time Will Bishop Eddie Long’s Funeral Be?
On January 25, services will be held at 11 a.m. at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, at 6400 Woodrow Road.
Long will be inactive from 8 am until the start of the service.
The church will host a visitation on Monday, January 24, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory is in charge of making the arrangements.
Any floral arrangements must be white or off-white, per the family’s request.
