Every month the streaming platform comes out with an interesting catalogue of films, shows, comedies, & documentaries on various people, stories & incidents. The month of June is no different, there are going to be 100+ new arrivals for ten audiences, some of them are Netflix Originals or exclusive content while others are prominent & fan favorite pieces of entertainment. Since there is a lot to cover, we have narrowed it down to a reasonable number, so here are our Top 5 picks:
• Bill Burr Presents: Friends Who Kill (Netflix Comedy)-
it is a comedy show in which Bill Burr will be performing for his fellow stand up comedians, releasing on 6th of June from 12:00 AM PST/ 03:00 ET, the show will feature acts from: Michelle Wolf, Ian Edwards, Dave Attel, Jessica Kerson, Jimmy Carr, Josh Adam Mayers, Steph Tolev, Jessica Kirson, Jeff Ross & Ronny Chieng. Its Netflix Synopsis is: Bill Burr curates a showcase of some of the best stand-up comedians working today.” If you are looking for an enjoyable, comedy filled leisure time, this show is to watch out for.
• That’s My Time with David Letterman (Netflix Comedy)-
Former & wildly famous Talk Show sensation David Letterman, will be seen first being entertained through the comedy sets being performed by some of his favorite & most celebrated stand up comics & then he will be interviewing them. This comedy series will premiere on Netflix on 7th June 2022, & was shot during the 11-day-long Netflix Is A Joke Festival that happened in Los Angeles from April 27 to May 3, 2022.
• Peaky Blinders, season 6 (Netflix Series)-
We got to know the Shelby boys in 2013, for the first time, throughout their journey of five seasons we’ve got to know their ways.m strengths, weaknesses, pitfalls & family dynamics. The fans favorite show has kept the audiences hooked for a very long time now, it’s sixth & final season will release on Netflix on 10th June 2022, although the show creator Steven Knight has said that there might be a possibility that the story might not end with season 6, but will be continued in some other format, a feature length film is in the works to conclude the tale. The upcoming season will contain 6 episodes & its cast will include: Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby, Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby, Stephen Graham as Hayden Stagg, Sam Claflin as Oswald Mosley, Conrad Khan, James Frecheville, Amber Anderson among others.
• Halftime (Netflix Documentary)-
The documentary will explore & cover the life of Jennifer López, her various achievements, life altering decisions, big break, her evolution as an artist through the years, her highs & lows. Jennifer Lopez has been a public figure since a very long time now and to sustain a certain level of stardom & relevance today is difficult with the influx of new artists, trends & changing times. It will be her story, through her eyes as she saw it all unfold. The documentary will release on June 14th 2022.
• The Umbrella Academy, season 3 – Netflix Series-
The story set in a different time period was first introduced to us in 2019, with its unique concept & fascinating storyline, it has got the audiences addicted to it, a bunch of teenagers saving the world after all navigating through their own life mixed with action, science ,time traveling & drama does make for an absorbing & engrossing watch.
