Suffolk County police have communicated that the 19-year-old girl steering the Jeep Wrangler that got smashed braved abrasions and afflictions that didn’t pose any threat to her life. She was also rushed to a hospital and will experience the restoration of her health soon.
A video clip from the accident spot displayed the Jeep’s frontal portion shattered, and most of the vehicle’s body was visibly damaged.
The police department has conveyed that their investigation is underway. However, they do not sense any criminal activity.
Det. Lt. Michael Crowley said, “The preliminary cause of the crash appears to be distraction on the part of the operator of the Mustang, but we have no indication speed was a factor at this time,”
