Ronnie Turner, an actor and the son of Tina Turner, passed away not too long ago at the age of 62. His performance in the biographical movie What’s Love Got To Do With It from 1993 brought Ronnie a lot of attention and popularity.
Afida, Ronnie’s wife, broke the news to their social media followers via a post in which she shared a few images of her and her late husband in some of their most memorable times together. She stated in her writing that despite everyone’s efforts, they were unable to save him.
According to People, the police received a call from Ronnie’s apartment from an anonymous male who indicated that Turner was unable to breathe till he could no longer breathe at all.
People in the area who witnessed Turner collapsing attempted to perform CPR on him, but by the time paramedics came, he was already deceased.
The reason for Ronnie’s passing is not known at this time. Even though he had been dealing with various health issues throughout the past few years, it is still not clear whether or not those issues had any part in his passing.
“I gave it my all till the very end, but unfortunately I was unable to save you this time. I have loved you for… 17 years but this is extremely unacceptable, and it has made me very angry “In the description of her post, she said the following.
“This is a terrible accident; may you, your brother Craig, your father Ike Turner, and your mother Aline all rest in peace… So unjust.”
Fox News Digital received confirmation from the Los Angeles Police Department that an ambulance death investigation was taking place at Ronnie’s residence.
TMZ was the first to report that police responded to a 911 call on Thursday regarding a person who was not breathing at Ronnie’s apartment. It was alleged that Ronnie did not breathe at all when the caller was on the phone.
Law enforcement officials who spoke to the site said that despite the paramedics doing CPR upon their arrival, Ronnie was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ronnie Turner was born to Tina Turner and her then-husband, Ike Turner, in 1960. Ronnie followed in his mother’s footsteps and entered the music industry, performing with his mother’s band as well as his own, Manufactured Funk.
In addition, Michael Turner and Ike Turner Jr. both call Tina their mother. 2018 was the year when her son Craig took his own life.
At the time, Craig Turner’s body was discovered inside the residence he shared with his family in Studio City, California.
