According to court documents obtained by Insider, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and her estranged husband, Perry Greene, have moved to finalise their divorce settlement.

According to court filings submitted on December 16 in Floyd County, Georgia, Superior Court, Perry Greene and the Republican congresswoman “mutually” requested that the court order a divorce since the marriage is “irretrievably broken.”

The joint motion for permission stated: “On December 13, 2022, the parties signed their Settlement Agreement, which resolved all marital disputes.” The original of such a settlement agreement is kept by the petitioner’s attorney, and each party keeps a true and correct copy of it. “As a result, the parties are no longer at odds with one another.”

In the court filing, the settlement’s specifics were not disclosed.
